Intervention1: Labetalol: 20 mg initially followed by 40 mg after 20 minutes then 80 mg every 20 minutes till the target blood pressure (150/100mmHg) is achieved. Control Intervention1: Nifedipine: 20

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women with Viable fetus at 20 weeks of gestation or more with severe pre-eclampsia

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in hypertensive condition of the patient with minimum dose required.Timepoint: Every 10 minutes till the target BP(150/110mmHg).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Adverse drug reaction of drugs.Timepoint: Every 10 minutes till the target BP(150/110mmHg).
