Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with mild and moderate Chronic periodontitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with systemic condition and/or have taken an antibiotic for more than 5 days during the last 3 weeks. 2. Patients with severe periodontitis. 3. Pregnant women and lactating mother. 4. Patient who have undergone flap surgery or major periodontal treatment in the past 6 months.

Plaque Index (PI), Gingival Index (GI), and Papillary Bleeding Index (PBI)Timepoint: Baseline, One and Half Months and Three Months

MeasureTime frame
Patients acceptability of the gels in terms of ease of use, taste & flavor.Timepoint: Will be taken at the end of the study.
