Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects between age group of 18 – 60 years, irrespective of gender, religion, occupation. Subjects fulfilling the Rome IV criteria. Both freshly diagnosed and treated cases The definition of fresh and treated cases include: A- Freshly detected and untreated cases of Grahani roga B - Established and treated cases of Grahani roga who had voluntarily discontinued the intervention for at least a week C- Established and treated cases of Grahani roga for whom intervention was stopped after following a flush out period of 7 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects suffering with other systemic diseases which interfere with the intervention like uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus (FBS above 150 mg/dL and PPBS above 250 mg/dL) and uncontrolled Hypertension (above 160/100 mm/hg) will be excluded. Subjects with complications of IBS such as severe anemia, rectal bleeding and significant weight loss will be excluded. Pregnant and lactating women will be excluded. Subjects unfit for virechana will be excluded.
