Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient age: 18-60 years of either gender. 2. Patients posted for surgery requiring general anaesthesia. 3. Patient with controlled hypertension.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient who does not give written inform consent. 2. Patients with history of allergy to study drug. 3. Patients with anticipated difficult intubation. 4. Patient taking amphotericin B, diazepam, dihydroergotamine.

To measure and compare the control of hemodynamic response in terms of heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure to laryngoscopy and intubation in group D and group LTimepoint: 1.5 year
