Intervention1: Pre-induction anaesthesia check list: The observer will check and verify the presence and functionality of each pre-induction anesthesia checklist item being checked by the anaesthesia

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of both sexes, aged between 18-80 years of age, and belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) category I-II; scheduled for elective surgeries under anesthesia were included in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with pre-existing cardiovascular, pulmonary, or metabolic diseases, bleeding disorders or with history of seizures, neurological, psychiatric disorder on psychotropic drugs, were excluded from study. Also patients undergoing emergency surgery were excluded
