Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Right elective laparoscopic colectomies 2. ASA 1 and 2 3. Patients of either gender with age up to 60 years of age 4. Willing to give consent 5. Patients who can be telephonically approached 6. Patients who can reach health center within 1 hour or reach PGIMER Chandigarh within 1 day 7. Includes all benign and malignant diseases.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Need for stoma making Need for stoma making 2. Laparoscopy converted to open colectomy 3.Patients who are not willing to provide consent for the study. 4. ASA more than 2 5. Pregnant patients 6. Patients with CAD 7. Patients belonging to remote geographical areas 8. Patients with elevated postoperative day 2 CRP and Procalcitonin levels 9. ICU admission 10. Patients who received NACT
