Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria- 1. Age- 30 to 60 years. 2. Patients with Lakshana of Amavata like sandhishool (pain at joints), sandhishotha (swelling over joints), sandhi stabhdhata (stiffness over joints), tivra sparshasahatva (tenderness over joints) upto 3 years severity of disease will be selected. 3. For more confirmation, American Rheumatoid Arthritis association criteria32 will be taken, if any 4 symptoms are there, then only it is considered as rheumatoid arthritis prescribed by ARAAC standard. 4. Patients who will give written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1) The patients who are taking any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and other Painkillers and steroids for Rheumatoid arthritis will be excluded. 2) Pregnancy, lactating mother. 3) Patients with heart diseases, DM, Hypertension, Anaemia and other chronic systemic diseases, other emaciated Chronic patients and increased chronicity like Rheumatoid nodules and deformity will be excluded. 4) Patients with pitta prakruti, patients having digestive system diseases like peptic ulcer diseases, gastritis, IBS, piles, Ulcerative colitis, GERD, duodenitis, Crohns disease will be excluded.

Virechana Karma with Amrutbhallataka Rasayana is not effective in the management of Amavata.Timepoint: duration of study is 35 days to 45 days. Follow up after snehapana,for Virechan karma after sansarjan krama,after 15th day and 30th day of taking oral medicine
