Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of irrespective of their gender including transgender, age between18-65 will be taken into consideration, whoever has ganglion in any part of the body. 2. Clinically diagnosed cases of ganglion. 3. Any ganglion that recurred after 6 months of surgical excision/re-excision. 4. Patients who have not taken any treatment for ganglion in past 4 weeks. 5. Literate patients who can read Bengali and/or English and /or Hindi 6. Providing the written informed consent to participate in the interventional trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Occult ganglion for which MRI is needed for confirmatory diagnosis. 2. In doubtful cases radiographic examination will be done and will be excluded if found otherwise. 3. Patients who are unwilling to give informed consent. 4. Patients suffering from any systemic illness and taking conventional medicine for that. 5. Pregnant and lactating mothers will be excluded. 6. Patients who are being immune-compromised. 7. Substance abuse and/or severely dependent on that. 8. Undergoing homoeopathic treatment for any other illness within last 4 weeks.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome assessment will be done using Vernier Caliper for size measurement.Timepoint: At baseline then at the end of every month up to 3 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcome assessment through EQ-5D-5L questionnaire for detailing about the quality of life of the patients undertaking homoeopathic treatment for ganglion.Timepoint: At baseline then at the end of every month up to 3 months.
