Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Females of age group 16-50 years 2 Subjects with menorrhagia irrespective of its etiology 3 Subjects with regular menstrual bleeding for more than 7 days and/or excessive in amount for the last two consecutive menstrual cycles

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Bleeding associated with pregnancy or miscarriage 2 Subjects undergoing hormonal replacement therapy 3 Subjects with coagulation disorders 4 Subjects undergoing medication for any systemic illnesses 5 Hb level = 7 gm% 6 Subjects with mandagni assessed using agnibala assessment tool

To assess the reduction in amount of bleeding in menorrhagia using PBLAC ScoreTimepoint: PBLAC score on the 4th, 6th and 8th days of menstruation.
