Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients planned for elective surgery under general anaesthesia with ASA grade 1 and 2 and Mallampati grade
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant and breast feeding women 2. history of any cervical spine disease 3. mouth opening less than 2 cm

| To compare the first attempt success rates for intubation between the kiwi grip bougie assisted intubation and the standard bougie technique.Timepoint: we are comparing the first attempt success rate of both technique, where success of intubation is confirmed by bilateral chest rise and square wave form in capnography. Bougie assisted failed intubation will be determined as failure of tracheal intubation in spite of three consecutive attempts. Total duration of study will be one year after CTRI registration | — |
