Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age more than 18 years 2. Patient should have been on regular haemodialysis for at least 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 18 years 2. patients with active infection at the time of study 3. history of admission to the hospital in the past three months 4. alcoholism 5. acute renal failure 6. cancer 7. major adverse cardiovascular events 8. severe gastrointestinal and hepatic diseases 9. Poor compliance with dialysis treatment, defined as skipping more than one session of haemodialysis in the preceding 4 weeks.

MeasureTime frame
1. Prevalence of Malnutrition in Patients Undergoing MHD: -Measure: Percentage of patients categorized into different nutritional status groups (normal nutrition, mild-to-moderate malnutrition, severe malnutrition) using the Modified Quantitative Subjective Global Assessment (MQSGA) tool. 2. Change in Nutritional Status Over Time: -Measure: Change in MQSGA scores from baseline to follow-up points. Timepoint: At the time of enrollment, mid-study (6 months), and at the end of the study (1.5 years).

1. Anthropometric Measurements: -Measure: Changes in body mass index (BMI), mid-arm circumference (MAC), mid-arm muscle circumference (MAMC), triceps skin fold (TSF), & biceps skin fold (BSF). 2. Biochemical Markers: -Measure: Changes in serum albumin, total protein, urea, creatinine, calcium, phosphate, lipid profile, & qualitative C-reactive protein (CRP). Timepoint: At the time of enrollment, mid-study (6 months), & at the end of the study (1.5 years).
