Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient belonging to ASA physical status 1,2 and 3 giving informed, valid and written consent , undergoing lecture and emergency surgery under general anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Those with known or anticipated difficult intubation. Those with significant respiratory comorbidities like pleural effusion,pulmonary edema, restrictive and obstructive lung diseases, pneumonia. Pregnant females
