Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Has significant difficulties in sleep quality as indicated by Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index above 5 Has common mental disorder (having PHQ-9 score of 5 or above and/or GAD-7 score of 5 or above) Ability to speak/understand English and/or Malayalam Stabilization of medication for minimum one month duration

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any active and progressive physical illness or neurological degenerative disease and/or substance/nicotine abuse/dependence and/or any clinical condition that would impact participation in the study With a primary diagnosis of Schizophrenia or psychosis, Bipolar Affective Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Severe depression with suicidal ideation, any clinical evidence of Intellectual Disability Individual who has received any form of structured psychological/alternative interventions (e.g., yoga) for sleep disturbance in the past three months Any individual who deliberately delays or deprives oneself of sleep limited to a specific event such as postpartum, exams, night shifts and so on
