Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients willing for the trial. 2. Patients between the ages of 20-65 years of either sex. 3. Patients who are newly diagnosed of Hypothyroidism with increased TSH levels. 4. The patient having clinical signs and symptoms of hypothyroidism. 5. TSH level between 4.7mIU/L-20mIU/L

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients below the age of 20 years and above 65 years. 2. Patients suffering from congenital hypothyroidism and secondary hypothyroidism. 3. Subjects having multi neoplasm and toxic goitre are excluded. 4. Patients who have undergone any type of thyroid surgery. 5. Pregnant and lactating women are excluded.

MeasureTime frame
Symptoms like fatigue, puffiness of face, oedema on peripheral extremities, dry skin, hoarseness of voice, breathlessness, weakness, weight gain, impaired memory, cold intolerance, constipation, duration of menstrual cycle and hair fall will be analyzed. T3, T4 and TSH will be analyzedTimepoint: 2 months
