Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with open wounds not amenable to primary closure and not requiring reconstruction

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Immunocompromised patients Patients not willing to give consent

graph paper measurements - in cm, depth of wound - in cm, discharge (in ml) and status of granulation tissue (pale, moist and healthy).Timepoint: graph paper measurements - in cm, depth of wound - in cm, discharge (in ml) and status of granulation tissue (pale, moist and healthy). All these parameters will be measured at baseline, followed by weekly - till 06 weeks followed by a final review at 08 weeks.

To record the data of baseline characteristics, investigation modalities, clinical and management parameters in patients with open wounds.Timepoint: 6 weeks, 8 weeks
