Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are willing to sign consent form for the clinical trial 2. Diagnosed patients of Essential Hypertension with Systolic blood pressure range less than 180 mm of hg to greater than or equal to 140 mm of hg , Diastolic blood pressure range less than 110 mm of hg to greater than or equal to 90 mm of hg (Hypertension Stage-1 and 2 as per JNC 8 criteria) 3. Patients between the age group of 18 to 60 years irrespective of their gender and socioeconomic status 4. Patients having no known complications of disease

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients below age of 18 years and above 60 years. 2. Patients having secondary hypertension caused by kidney disease, adrenal disease, thyroid disorder etc. 3. Pregnancy induced hypertension. 4. History of serious liver disease in the recent past. 5. Hypertensive retinopathy. 6. Pregnant women and lactating mother.

Changes in subjective criteria - Headache, Fatigue, Palpitation, Giddiness, Insomnia, Excessive angerTimepoint: At baseline & end of 60 days of treatment.
