Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients of physical status I or II of ASA, aged between 18 to 65 years, posted for upper limb surgery below the level of mid humerus

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with preexisting peripheral neuropathy of upper limb, bleeding disorders, infection at the site of injection, untreated pneumothorax, patient refusal, patient switched to GA or inadequate block requiring additional sedation, 0bese and sick patients, patients receiving chronic analgesic or steroid therapy.
