Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Infants and neonates, born at term gestation diagnosed with Congenital heart disease, planned for corrective or palliative surgery. 2. Infants with mothers who are willing to breastfeed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neonates and infants with other associated congenital anomalies that affect their feeding ability (such as cleft palate).
