Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children between 6 to 12 years with recurrent abdominal pain as defined by Apley and Naish as three or more episodes of abdominal pain severe enough to interfere with a child’s activities and occurring during a period longer than 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with known developmental disorders unable to give history. Children with any known chronic illnesses. Children on special diets for specific illnesses. Children with Gastrotomy.
