Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any deviation from planned procedure 2. Jaundice 3. Gallbladder malignancy 3. Difficult cholecystectomy (Cushieri scale grade III, IV and Nassar scale grade 3, 4 and 5) 4. Subserosal infiltration deemed hazardous by operating surgeon. 5. Anaphylaxis. 6. Pregnancy

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Post operative pain using visual analogue scale (VAS).Timepoint: At 1 hour, 4 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV) 2. Pulse rate 3. Blood pressure.Timepoint: At 1 hour, 4 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours.
