Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects belonging to the age group of 35 to 70 years of both sexes. 2. Patients diagnosed with varying stages of periodontitis according to the 2017 classification, and with/without a documented history of bronchial asthma. 3. Non-Smokers. 4. Additionally, participants must possess the capacity to provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from any systemic disease 2. History of any treatment for periodontal disease in the past six months 3. Use of any antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs in the last 6 months 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals
