Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: •Patients with a diagnosis confirmed through histopathological examination. •Patients with colorectal carcinoma that has originated de novo (without prior related history). •Primary cases of colorectal carcinoma with no history of previous treatment. •Patients who are not taking lipid-lowering medications.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: •Patients who are taking lipid-lowering medications. •Patients who are receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy for colorectal carcinoma. •Patients who have previously undergone surgical procedures for colorectal cancer before being enrolled in the study.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Serum lipid levels will be lower and CEA levels will be higher in comparison to various stages of colorectal carcinoma.Timepoint: Assessment will be done at 12 months.
