Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: posted for hip surgeries of asa 1 and 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal 2.Patients with known hypersensitivity or contraindications to the study drugs 3.Infection at the site of block 4.Patients with advanced renal, hepatic, respiratory or cardiac diseases 5.Patients with severe coagulopathy 6.Pregnant patients 7.Patients with neurological, psychiatric or neurovascular disorders 8.Patient with alcohol/drug abuse 9. inability to comprehend visual analog score 10.total hip arthroplasty and intramedullary nailing and closed reduction with only screw fixation

To assess the duration & effectiveness of post operative analgesia between the two techniques PENG or SIFI block using VAS scoreTimepoint: Visual Analog Pain score during 2 6 10 14 18 24 hours time to require the first dose of analgesics.
