Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients above age of 18 years admitted to Kasturba hospital, Manipal with a diagnosis of mild biliary pancreatitis and managed surgically by departments of General Surgery and Surgical Gastroenterology.All cases of biliary pancreatitis regardless of comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, mild to moderate cardiovascular diseases.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: All cases with age less than 18 years. All cases who did not give consent for surgery. Patients of pancreatitis of other etiology other than biliary causes. All cases with severe respiratory failure and sever cardiovascular disease.
