Intervention1: Carbohydrate Lollipop: In the preoperative area, a baseline ultrasonographic assessment of the gastric volume will be done in supine and right lateral decubitus positions and thereafter

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children ages 2-12 2. Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) Physical Status I-II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children scheduled to undergo gastrointestinal surgery 2. Body Mass Index >35 kg/m2 3. Patients receiving drugs known to cause decreased gastric motility
