Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Male patients aged 18-30 years with clinical features suggestive of Androgenetic alopecia(MPHL) 2.Patients with AGA Grade 1-5 of modified Hamilton-Norwood scale. 3.Person who has not taken medical treatment for AGA in any form for the past 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Male patients with alopecia secondary to known endocrinological disorders. 2.Male patients with other non scarring alopecias 3.Elderly patients with severe hypertension associated with other cardiovascular problems.

1.Assessment of hair growth with Global Photographic Assessment scale. 2.Assessment of side effects of oral minoxidil and oral dutasteride.Timepoint: Serial photographs of vertex and frontal areas to assess for improvement in hair growth at baseline, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months

1.Assessment of hair growth with Global Photographic Assessment scale & patient satisfaction. 2.Assessment of efficacy of oral minoxidil & oral dutasteride using Global Photographic Assessment ScaleTimepoint: 1.Grading of improvement in hair growth at baseline,12 weeks,24 weeks,36 weeks & 48 weeks. 2.Serial photographs of vertex & frontal areas to assess for improvement in hair growth at baseline, 3 months, 6 months & 12 months.
