Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Kmax less than 55D Minimum central corneal thickness more than 400 ?m Patients willing for CXL procedure for keratoconus

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any history of ocular surgery or ocular trauma Patients with age under 18 years or above 35 years Soft and hard contact lens wearers discontinued using lenses 3 days or 3 weeks, respectively, before the examinations Any history of ocular disease other than keratoconus like Glaucoma, Retinal pathology, severe dry eye, corneal hydrops, ocular allergies, etc

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare conventional v/s accelerated corneal cross linking by measuring contrast sensitivity using LogMAR values in Pelli Robson chart in presence of low to medium intensity glare of brightness acuity tester (BAT) and by comparing higher order aberrations (coma, spherical aberrations, trefoil) using Zernike polynomials in Pentacam topography Timepoint: 1 year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Cone location of Keratoconus using Pentacam topography and its effect on contrast sensitivity and HOA. Comparison of demarcation line depth between conventional v/s accelerated corneal cross linking using AS-OCT Timepoint: 1 year
