Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of either sex between ages of 18-60 years 2.Patients with KOH positive 3.Patients of all varieties of Dadru without discriminating its area of infection 4.Both fresh and Treated cases of Dadru

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant and lactating women 2.Patients with immune suppressive medications 3.patients suffering from systemic disorders like auto immune diseases, hypertension, diabetes mellitus etc; which interferes with the course of treatment 4.Patients With systemic mycosis 5.Patients pretreated with antifungal drugs within 14 days

1.To study the effect of karanjadi lepa in management of charakokta chaturth twacha stariya dadru vyadhi (dermatophytosis)in adults by using punch biopsy (in severe cases). 2.To compare the effect of karanjadi lepa & sertacanazole 2% cream in charakokta chaturth twacha stariya vyadhi dadru (dermatophytosis) in adults.Timepoint: 1month /30 days (effect will be compared)

1.To study the improvement in subjective parameter like sign & symptoms(Itching, Erythema, eruption, Burning sensation, dryness, elevation of lesion)(within 1 month), time of recovery from initiation of treatment & recurrence (within 3 months)Timepoint: improvement (within 1 month/30days) recurrence (within 3 months/90 days)
