Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Duration of analgesia in the post operative period.Timepoint: 1.Pain is assessed using VAS SCORE at immediate post operative period then at 2nd hr,4th hr,6th hr,8th hr,10th hr ,12th hr for first 24 hours then every 6 hours for next 24 hours till they require rescue analgesia.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Onset & duration of sensory block 2.Onset & duration of motor block 3.first analgesic requirements 4.vitals.Timepoint: 1.Onset of sensory block will be assessed every 3 min & motor block every 5min for first 5-10min following completion of drug administration & then every 2nd hourly till the regression of sensory & motor block. 2.Time of first dose of analgesic will be recorded using VAS score. 3.vitals will be monitored every 2nd hourly for first 24hours of post operative period.
