Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Study the effect of dexmedetomidine intraoperatively on requirement of intravenous antihypertensive agents in patients on dual antihypertensive therapy to maintain BP less than SBP 130 mmHg and DBP 90 mmHg during renal transplant.Timepoint: Baseline Before Intubation Just after intubation 5 minutes after intubation Before reperfusion Just after reperfusion 5 minutes after reperfusion End of surgery | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| he secondary outcome include mean arterial pressure (MAP) & heart rate (HR), which will be continuously measured & recorded.Timepoint: Administration of Dexmedetomidine at the start of surgery with haemodynamic monitoring at: Baseline Before Intubation Just after intubation 5 minutes after intubation Before reperfusion Just after reperfusion 5 minutes after reperfusion End of surgery | — |
