Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients aged 18 to 60 years who presented with benign lip pigmentation will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and lactation women History of skin malignancy and radiotherapy, smoking habit, any active lesions on the lips requiring biopsy Patients who recently underwent lip tattooing/ augmentation less than 2 years

To compare the efficacy of picosecond and Q switched nanosecond 532nm Nd YAG laser treatments for lip melanosis.Timepoint: After 3 months

MeasureTime frame
Clinical response will be assessed by calculating melanin with Dermacatch’s. every 3 weeks for a total of 4 sessions Patient satisfaction with respect to improvement in lip pigmentation will be graded with a Visual analogue scale (VAS) ranging from 0-10, every 3 weeks for a total of 4 sessionsTimepoint: After 3 months
