Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients both male and female 2.Aged above 50 years 3.With nuclear sclerosis of grade 1-4 (LOCS III), or posterior subcapsular cataract with pre existing regular corneal astigmatism between 0.75 D and 1.5 D on partial coherence interferometry (PCI) automated keratometry (IOLMaster 700, Carl Zeiss Meditec).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Irregular astigmatism on tomography 2.Clinical or topographic keratoconus 3.Corneal scars 4.Corneal dystrophies 5.Peripheral corneal degenerations 6.Phacodonesis 7.Traumatic cataract 8.Intumescent cataract 9.Morgagnian cataract 10.Pseudoexfoliation 11.Previous ocular surgery 12.Other ocular pathology that could have an impact on capsular bag stability and on postoperative visual function 13.Any intraoperative or postoperative complications will be excluded from the study
