Intervention1: Clonidine and Lignocaine: Preoperatively just before induction, group 1 will be nebulised with 4% lignocaine for 10 min and will be given 100 m of normal saline intravenously and group

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: BMI 18.5-29.9 ASA I and II posted for elective craniotomy procedure under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Anticipated difficult airway. Patients requiring more than 1 intubation attempt and taking more than 30 seconds for laryngoscopy and intubation. Cardiac disease and hypertensive patients. Pregnant patients. Patients with allergy to study drugs.
