Intervention1: Subtalar Arthroereisis: A surgical procedure designed to treat flexible flatfoot deformity by inserting an implant in the subtalar joint, so that eversion of the joint can be controlled

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient aged 10-19 years 2. Symptomatic flexible flat foot 3. Not responding to conservative treatment 4. Patient previously underwent isolated subtalar arthroereisis and soft tissue release for flexible flat foot

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient not giving informed consent for the study 2. Rigid flatfoot 3. Post-traumatic flatfoot 4. Talocalaneal coalition 5. Secondary flatfoot caused by neuromuscular disorders 6. Ankle sprain/tear 7. Patient having ankle arthritis 8. Patient who are not able to walk 9. Associated with any other limb injury or fracture

MeasureTime frame
1. To Study the Gait Pattern in Adolescent Symptomatic Flexible Flat Foot Patients before and after Subtalar Arthroereisis. 2. Clinical and radiological assessment in Adolescent Symptomatic Flexible Flat Foot Patients before and after Subtalar Arthroereisis. 3. To compare gait pattern of surgically treated patient vs healthy subject. Timepoint: Preopertively after recruitment Postoperativly on 2nd week, 3rd month and 6th month
