Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The research subjects of age group 40-60 years will be selected irrespective of gender Subjects diagnosed as low grade and medium grade senile cataract as per LOCS III grading

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those who are contra indicated for anjana karma. Subjects with diabetes mellitus Subjects with inflammatory and infective diseases of eye ball and its appendages. Subjects on local and systemic steroid medication Subjects with any retinal diseases Subjects unwilling to provide informed consent.

CHANGE IN VISION Will be assessed by Log MAR visual acuity chart by noting change in visual acuity score value CHANGE IN CONTRAST SENSITIVITY Will be assessed by Pelli-Robson contrast sensitivity chart by noting the sensitivity score value CHANGE IN GRADE OF CATARACT Will be graded as per Standard Lens Opacity Classification System III by slit lamp examinationTimepoint: Assessment will be done on 0th and 22nd day of treatment. Follow up will be done on 52nd day.
