Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All new onset glioma patients admitted for surgery in Neurosurgery IPD of G.I.P.M.E.R with clinical and radiological evidence of glioma preoperatively and histopathologically proven cases postoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have received treatment such as radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy preoperatively will be excluded. 2. Patients with any history of other systemic malignancies will be excluded. 3. Patients with history of Alzheimer’s disease will be excluded. 4. Patients with history of recurrent glioma with multiple surgeries will be excluded. 5. All biopsy negative brain tumors for glioma postoperatively will be excluded from the case population and will be considered as a control population.
