Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective surgery under spinal anaesthesia, (ASA) 1-2 risk stratification.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with uncontrolled hypertension or diabetes Hepatic and renal abnormalities Pregnant females. Right ventricular dysfunction. valvular leasions of heart. Thrombosis or stenosis of SCV, IJV, IVC. Conditions with Increased intrathoracic pressure.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the collapsibility index of IJV,IVC and subclavian veins for prediction of spinal hypotension.Timepoint: collapsibility index will be measured before giving spinal and blood pressure will be recorded every minute for first five minutes, then every 5 minutes for the first 30 minutes after giving spinal anesthesia.
