Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. BMI 18.5 - 29.99 kg/sq metre 2. ASA physical status 1 and 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Hyper and hypomagnesemia 3. Pregnancy 4. Cardiac disease 5. Neuromuscular disease (myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophy, upper motor neuron lesions) 6. Special group of population (notified tribals, jail inmates, etc)

MeasureTime frame
To compare the duration of neuromuscular reversal time (by NMT monitoring) of magnesium sulphate and placebo groups. Parameters - 1. Train-of-four count (TOFC), 2. Train-of-four ratio (TOFR)Timepoint: 15 minutes before intubation, 10 minutes before intubation, 5 minutes before intubation, Immediately after intubation, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, and so on.

1. To compare the shifting time from OT to PACU of the two groups 2. To compare the need of supplemental vecuronium dose requirement among the groups.Timepoint: Time of reversal administration, 1 min after reversal, 2 mins, 3 mins, 4 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins, 20 mins.
