Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) All the patients visiting the Department of Respiratory Medicine having COPD as per GOLD guidelines 2023

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients who are not willing to participate in the study 2)Acutely ill and who need ICU admission 3)Patients with cognitive impairment 4)Patients who are unable to perform the maneuver 5)Patients contraindicated to perform spirometry and DLCo(with comorbid conditions like congestive cardiac failure, raised intracranial pressure ,skeletal abnormalities,etc)

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1)To study DLCO findings in patients identified as mild,moderate and severe cases of COPD.Timepoint: Assessment will be done at the end of 8 weeks
