Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Acne in female >25 years. 2.Patients with grade 3 and 4 3.Patient of grade 2 not responding to routine antibiotic treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Age • History of venous thromboembolic disease. • Smoking and greater than 35 years of age. • History of migraine. • Uncontrolled hypertension& diabetes. • History of stroke. • Ischemic heart disease. • Current of personal history of breast cancer. • Cirrhosis. • Liver tumour (benign or malignant). • Major surgery with prolonged immobilization.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Change in Global acne grading scale, comprehensive acne scale, patient global at assessment.Timepoint: At every 4 weeks tills 6 month

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
ACNEQL score to assess the impact of quality of life in both the groups. 4. Acceptability of the regimen with Visual analogue scale. Timepoint: 0 weeks , 24 weeks
