Design outcomes

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Carrier identification in family would be useful to create awareness and offer them compatible partner selection and prenatal diagnosisTimepoint: 3 months Data compilation and statistical analysis

Primary

MeasureTime frame
RBC indices RBC histograms along with clinical findings & family history can help in predicting the diagnosis various types of thalassemic syndromes and hemoglobinopathies by HPLC Hence complete blood counts comprising of RBC indices and RBC histograms can be used for triaging patients who require HPLC testing for confirmation of the diagnosisTimepoint: 1 year and 9 months from the date of approval Data collection of clinical findings and test results of cases
