Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria- ASA 1 AND 2 children more than 1 year and less than 7 years undergoing Elective surgery and needing oral intubation and the placement of a Nasogastric tube
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children undergoing Emergency surgery Children with inadequate fasting prone to aspiration Children with an anticipated difficult airway Contraindications to application of cricoid pressure like difficult airway, unstable cervical spine etc

| 1. Assessment whether application of cricoid pressure affects the glottic view & the change in glottic view after application of cricoid pressure as compared to baseline glottic view 2. Ease of intubation by trainees with CMAC VLscope & ongoing cricoid pressure based on a Likert scale. Timepoint: 1. The glottic view will be assessed before & after application of cricoid pressure & just before intubation. 2. The ease of intubation will be graded by the trainee immediately after successful intubation. | — |
