Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age group 18-60 years Patients of both SEX ASA Grade 1&2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal Patients aged below 18 and above 60 years Patients with risk of aspiration Cardiovascular disease Neuromuscular problems Major sicknesses like Bronchial asthma and Tuberculosis Patients with implants Pregnancy Drug allergy

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effects of Propofol with Dexmedetomidine versus Propofol with Fentanyl in attenuation of the stress response, sedation, seizure duration, and recovery time during ECT.Timepoint: Immediately after induction till 10 min after procedure

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To observe the occurrence of seizure induced haemodynamic changes and any side effects and complications of ECT. To observe the occurrence of any side effects and complications related to Propofol with Dexmedetomidine versus Propofol with Fentanyl. Timepoint: Immediately after induction till 10 min after procedure
