Interventions

Intervention1: Opthalmic Ultrasound: Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter will be measured within 30 seconds to 60 seconds at each time points by Opthalmic ultrasound.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age = 18 years 2. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status 1 and 2. 3. Undergoing elective endoscopic thyroid and parathyroid surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of cerebrovascular and neurological disease 2. History of prior neck surgery and neck radiotherapy. 3. History of prior breast surgery. 4. History of orbital trauma. 5. Patient with severe cardiopulmonary disease 6. Body mass index (BMI) = 35 kg/m2

MeasureTime frame
To measure the changes in ONSD with respect to CO2 insufflation during endoscopic thyroid and parathyroid surgery.Timepoint: After intubation, after Rose position, at 10 min ,30 min and 60 min of carbon dioxide insufflation and 10 min after carbon dioxide desufflation

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To measure adverse events related to elevated ONSD during surgeryTimepoint: at 10 min ,30 min and 60 min of carbon dioxide insufflation
