Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are willing to participate and sign the informed consent for this clinical trial Patients who are known cases of T2DM and in the age group of 35 to 70 years Patients will be divided as Group one forty patients with controlled T2DM HbA1C values lesser than or equal to six point four to seven gm percentage Group two forty patients with uncontrolled T2DM HbA1C values greater than seven gm percentage

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with known systemic diseases (other than T2DM) and conditions. Patients who received systemic antibiotic therapy within the past 6 months Patients who received periodontal therapy (scaling and root planning or surgery) within the past year. Self-reported psychiatric disorder or psychotic medications. Pregnancy and lactating mothers, current smokers.
