Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with signs and symptoms of Anidra and a confirmed diagnosis of Anidra (insomnia) based on established diagnostic criteria. 2. Patients who have not received any previous treatment specifically targeting Anidra (insomnia) within the last three months. 3. Marital status – Married and unmarried both.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients below 20 years and above 80 years. 2. Patients with severe psychiatric disorders that may significantly impact the assessment and management of Anidra (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder) and Patients with a history of significant sleep disorders other than Anidra (e.g.,- restless leg syndrome). 3. Patients with significant comorbidities that may affect sleep management (e.g., cardiovascular diseases, chronic pain conditions). 4. Patients with known allergies or contraindications to Vacha churna (powdered Acorus Calamus). 5. Pregnant or lactating women due to potential risks associated with interventions or assessments.

Change in Anidra Symptom score(PSQ) and Improved sleep quality in patients with AnidraTimepoint: 15 days

MeasureTime frame
Significant Change in Sleep Duration,Sleep Quality or in Mansik Bhavas(like stress,anxiety,depression,etc.) And also Any adverse events experienced by participants.Timepoint: 1 Month
