Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with h/o Diabetes mellitus 2. Either gender 3. Adult patients (18-65 yrs) 4. Patients undergoing Endoscopic Urological surgeries under Spinal Anaesthesia 5. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status II or III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) or hyperosmolar coma 2. Cardiac surgeries/ Neurological surgeries 3. Severe Electrolyte imbalance 4. Pre-operative Hemoglobin 5. Preoperative Mini Mental State Scale (MMSE) scores less than 24 and DOS score > 3 6. History of mental or nervous system disorder, 7. On Psychotropic drugs / steroids 8. Severe Liver / kidney / cardiac /respiratory disease. 9. Chronic Smoking / alcohol intake 10.Emergency surgeries 11.Visual and hearing impairment 12.Intraoperative blood loss >200 ml 13.Refusal to participate in study
