Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Subjects of age 65 yrs and beyond and any gender. 2) Presenting with pruritus of more than 6 weeks with either normal skin or non-bullous skin lesions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Cases with pruritus ascribed to any systemic disorders [ Hematological disorders , Endocrinal and metabolic diseases, renal and hepatobiliary diseases, Neuropathic itch , paraneoplastic itch]. 2) Cases with pruritus ascribed to infections and infestations [scabies]. 3) Cases with known dermatoses [ lichen planus , DH etc.] a) Withdrawal criteria (Situations warranting exclusion during the study)Patients not willing to give consent for the study. b) Rescue criteria in case of occurrence of expected adverse outcomes.
