Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of either sex in the age group of above 18 years and below 70 years. 2.Newly diagnosed patients of prameha on the basis of presence of classical signs and symptoms and laboratory investigations for DM-II (FBS, PPBS, and HbA1c). 3.Fasting plasma glucose between 126 mg/dl to 200 mg/dl or Post Prandial glucose level 200 mg/dl to 300 mg/dl. 4.HbA1c is between 6.5% -12%.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient undergoing any other treatment for diabetes. 2.Patient having severe complications. 3.Patient having Diabetes mellitus Type-1[IDDM]. 4.Patients with other metabolic and endocrine disorders. 5.Patients having any other malignancies, any other serious illness. 6.Patients with diabetic wounds / ulcers. 7.Patients having chronic complications of Type 2 Diabetes or other chronic debilitating disease like STD etc. 8.Pregnant and lactating women
