Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Samples will be collected from healthy and malnourished children from 1 month to 5 years age category, where healthy children are the ones who show normal anthropometric parameters whereas malnourished children are those who show characteristics of Moderate Acute Malnutrition and Severe Acute Malnutrition as per WHO guidelines. Samples from healthy, moderately malnourished and severe acute malnourished children will be 88, 41 and 41 respectively, leading to total of 170 samples.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children undergoing chemotherapy, systemic illness, or on long-term medication.
